Boho-Inspired Wedding Photography
You might know you love the boho-inspired aesthetic and maybe you’re considering bringing a little or a lot of that into your wedding design and planning. Don’t forget, part of that is choosing the right photographer to capture it. So, let me give you some inspiration. Looking through styles of photography before choosing your photographer is so, so important. For this type of aesthetic, notice the warmth, tones, energy, and emotion.
If you’re shopping in Toronto for your bridal look, be sure to check out Silk Row Bridal where you can find ALL these dresses and veils for your boho wedding vision!
I love a good close up, showing off the emotion in a bride’s face and with neutrals in the background that don’t distract from the beautiful subject.
Adding special tools in front of my lens while shooting gives these cool camera effects. Pair that with the flowing dress and you can feel the movement of the moment in this photo.
My photography is emotive - it both shows and evokes emotion. The twinkle in the bride’s eye gets me every time. And black and white so nothing at all distracts from the point of focus.
Remember those cool camera tools I mentioned? This reflection was completely created when taking the photo, no Photoshop needed.
This is a boho image, and let me tell you why. The glow on the bride’s face, the colours all comprising of warm neutrals, the image feeling like it was a true moment frozen in time, the slightly messy hair at the bottom… but most importantly, the FEEL of this image. Would you agree?
Boho details. A white dress, gold rings, and a bride moving throughout her day.
I mean… the ultimate setting. Arch. Macramé beige pillows. A lot of pillows. Taupe wool blanket. Bride in the ultimate boho full lace long sleeve dress, and flowy veil to shoot. Everything in this photo is THE boho vibe.
A moment of movement and feeling in black and white.
When your detail shots include the stunning bespoke jewellery of Nicola Lauren. Her handmade fine jewellery is the perfect addition to your boho-inspired wedding.
Anyone else a sucker for veil shots? I take a certain approach to these that creates a dramatic focus on the bride or groom’s face. One full of love when looking at their other. A beautiful moment of presence.
The colours in the background and the colour edit of this photo gives it the boho look and feel you need.
Details shots with boho decor. This is why you need to incorporate boho features in the design of your big day. It’ll be present in every photo!
This dress. The walls. The greenery. The subtle light on the bride’s face…
Hanging egg chair for the win! Wait, also the silk dress, and the earrings, and the look on the bride’s face.
In love with black and white detail shots. Also in love with these details.
Boho vibes fit perfectly with candid, “imperfect” shots. Am I right or am I right?
Ok, last veil shot to end it off. Featuring the uniqueness of this bridal top paired with a blush skirt.
