Boho-Inspired Wedding Photography

You might know you love the boho-inspired aesthetic and maybe you’re considering bringing a little or a lot of that into your wedding design and planning. Don’t forget, part of that is choosing the right photographer to capture it. So, let me give you some inspiration. Looking through styles of photography before choosing your photographer is so, so important. For this type of aesthetic, notice the warmth, tones, energy, and emotion.

If you’re shopping in Toronto for your bridal look, be sure to check out Silk Row Bridal where you can find ALL these dresses and veils for your boho wedding vision!

profile of blonde curly woman in veil looking side on

I love a good close up, showing off the emotion in a bride’s face and with neutrals in the background that don’t distract from the beautiful subject.

boho soft image of girl in flowing wedding gown with boho accents

Adding special tools in front of my lens while shooting gives these cool camera effects. Pair that with the flowing dress and you can feel the movement of the moment in this photo.

black and white photo of bride and groom with veil on top of them

My photography is emotive - it both shows and evokes emotion. The twinkle in the bride’s eye gets me every time. And black and white so nothing at all distracts from the point of focus.

Remember those cool camera tools I mentioned? This reflection was completely created when taking the photo, no Photoshop needed.

Bride with chin on groom's shoulder peaking over with warm light on her face

This is a boho image, and let me tell you why. The glow on the bride’s face, the colours all comprising of warm neutrals, the image feeling like it was a true moment frozen in time, the slightly messy hair at the bottom… but most importantly, the FEEL of this image. Would you agree?

veil photo of bride and groom

Anyone else a sucker for veil shots? I take a certain approach to these that creates a dramatic focus on the bride or groom’s face. One full of love when looking at their other. A beautiful moment of presence.
